We are on an exciting journey to continue to improve the life chances of our pupils. In September 2012 we became an academy with the Salford Academy Trust as our sponsor. As part of this Trust we aim to work in partnership to develop life-long learning skills for both our pupils and the local community which is very diverse.

If you would like to join this forward thinking school and know you can make a real difference to children’s learning, then we would love to hear from you.

 We wish to appoint an outstanding, enthusiastic practitioner who can, under the guidance of the SENCo and Class Teacher, provide excellent 1:1 and group support for one of our pupils with additional needs.  You will initially be working in Year 2 and will have experience of meeting the global needs of children with additional needs and more specifically with speech and language development and supporting literacy and numeracy.  You will also be required to liaise closely with the child’s parents.  You will be assertive, caring, enthusiastic and hard working and able to draw upon successful learning and TA experiences.

You will also be required to lead lunchtime activities for groups of pupils, under the direction of the Lunchtime Activities Co-Ordinator.

In addition, you will;

Be able to work as part of a successful team
Have high expectations and a commitment to improving standards
Be committed to inclusion
Help develop an exciting learning environment
Be flexible and motivated
Have good communication skills
Have a sense of humour

We would also be delighted to meet you and show you around our school.
